The Clairwood Logistics Park is being developed by the JSE-listed Fortress REIT Limited. A major player in the South African property sector, Fortress’s investment portfolio included 336 investment properties valued at R28,7-billion at the end of December 2016. Fortress has one of the largest logistics property development pipelines, accounting for over R8 billion over the next five years.
The R4 billion Clairwood Logistics Park will set a new standard in prime A-grade logistics facilities in KZN. Developed in phases, it will ultimately comprise 358000 m2 of A-grade warehousing space as well as large yards and office space. Clairwood is expected to be fully operational by 2020.
WHY CHOOSE US
A-grade logistics facilities in the Durban South Basin are almost non-existent. The Clairwood Logistics Park is not only the last flat land available for development but is strategically located just 11km from the Durban Container Terminal and about 3.5km from the proposed Durban Dig Out Port.

FORTRESS IS COMMITTED TO ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY DEVELOPMENT
A donation by Fortress will enable the KZN Crane Foundation to buy and rehabilitate a 15 hectare site adjacent to its property in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. This will off-set the loss of habitat of a pair of Grey Crowned Cranes, a migratory species that was resident at the Clairwood race course site.
